The Capsule Form
The cabinet is built as a continuous curved shell. Instead of a boxy carcass with applied side panels, the front, radius and side wrap as one plane — a technique that requires hot-press curved lamination over a solid hardwood frame. The result: the sideboard reads soft from every angle and works well in rooms where a hard-edged credenza would feel heavy.
Solid Marble Sphere Legs
Each of the five legs is a solid sphere of Rosso Levanto marble, hand-turned on a lathe and polished to a low-gloss finish. The deep burgundy stone with white crystalline veining is a natural material, so pattern, depth of colour and vein direction vary from piece to piece — every sideboard is one of one. Each sphere is core-drilled and mounted on a blackened steel post with a threaded insert, load-tested to carry a fully loaded cabinet.
Storage & Function
Four doors open onto two internal bays, each with one adjustable shelf on a 32mm pin system. Doors run on European soft-close concealed hinges with a push-to-open latch, so the front stays completely hardware-free. A rear cable cutout is available on request for media use. Interior is finished in a matching low-sheen lacquer.
Materials & Craft
Built from kiln-dried hardwood (mango, teak or acacia depending on finish) with a 12-15% moisture content suitable for export and climate-controlled interiors. Hand-sanded through four grits and finished with a hand-rubbed low-VOC lacquer. Knock-down (KD) construction means legs detach for safe shipping and easy handling on site.
